PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Considered as the holiest of the four important shrines of Hindus, Shri Badrinath ji is situated in the Garhwal region at the confluence of the Rishi Ganga and Alaknanda rivers and at an altitude of 3110 M above the sea level.
The project is envisaged to address the problems of crowd chaos, lack of proper parking, lack of proactive information system, lack of adequate toilets and changing rooms, lack of Pilgrim Facilitation Centre and an ever growing problem of waste all over the town.
The Project addresses all of these and related challenges and ensures a properly managed information system that is dynamic to manage the crowd in such a way that they get the Darshans in a more respectable way. The Pilgrimage is to be organized using VIRTUAL QUE SYSTEM optimized to carrying capacity of the Temple Complex. The project also ensures proper and total management of nonsegregated waste in the town with no impact on the environment.
